Rainfall MapServer Interface
Note: The Rainfall MapServer Interface is currently under
development, and as such the appearance and specific content of these pages

Click on the "Initialize MapServer" button to start the mapserver interface
(uses the University of Minnesota
MapServer software.) The interface is divided into three sections: the
map is on the right, the map settings are in the middle, and the map legend
is on the right. The map settings section allow one to recenter/zoom the map,
and to add data layers to the map.
Rainfall MapServer Interface notes:
There are 2 methods to zoom the map, they are:
- Box zoom:
Highlight an area of the map by right clicking and holding the button down on thmap. Move the mouse in any direction, and a rectangle will be drawn highlighting the area. Release the mouse button, and press the Redraw button.
- Point zoom:
Click the mouse on a point in the map, select a Zoom Factor, and press the Redraw button.
To recenter the map, Click the mouse on a point in the map, select "Recenter Map" in the Zoom Factor box, and press the Redraw button.
